An Open and Closed Case. Finding the unusual.

                                 An Open & Closed Case.

Always when out and about on my travels I hope to find the unusual of which the attached is.

A beautifully made burr walnut revolver pistol case possibly for a Tranter and containing not a trade label but a dispatch label dated 6th October 1879.

This indicating that Trulock & Harriss of 9 Dawson Street, Dublin had possibly ordered this case from a case supplier?

Trulock & Harriss traded at 9 Dawson Street, Dublin, under this title from 1854-1897.

We are always interested in purchasing pistol cases and original trade cards/labels related to the gunmakers of Ireland.
